A family building the house of their dreams tasked us to renovate their 1,200-square foot Modernist-style house from the late 1950s. Perched on Golden Gate Heights with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge, the new home retains an approachable and comfortable modern sensibility, and now has well-framed, dramatic views.
