This renovation of a late 50’s mid-century ranch home was inspired by the views of Mt Tam and the access to open trails. The young family’s intention was to bring light and views into the home, and make it a cozy and entertaining space to raise their kids. We took a crippled foundation with dry rot and mold throughout, complete with green shag carpeting and purple poodle wall paper... and turned it into a light filled charming midcentury bungalow, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hillsides.
